Vanessa helped us to buy our very first house. When we first decided to start looking, Vanessa was connected to us a bit tangentially. We weren't sure what to expect, but from the word "go" she was engaged and helpful. As we were starting the process from out-of-state, this was particularly critical. We talked via FaceTime initially and then primarily through phone calls and text messages.

We had to do four weekends of concentrated viewings of properties, but she really moved heaven and earth to make sure she could be with us for as much as possible during those weekends. She even arranged for a kind of practice session early on where we looked at four very unique properties, not expecting to really connect with any of them, so we could get a feel for what it felt like to look at a house rather than a rental unit. This helped tremendously.

Throughout the process, Vanessa was honest and communicative. She taught us a lot about home buying, and she was supportive of our decisions. She wasn't blindly supportive, though.
